Three people were shot Sunday night at the Lawrence Community Park. None of the injuries are expected to be life threatening.
Lawrence police responded to shooting at Lawrence Community Park around 10:15 p.m., where they found three people injured from gunshot wounds. This is located at 5301 N. Franklin Road.
Preliminary investigation indicates there was a large gathering at the front of the park when the shooting occurred, according to police. However, an exact reason for the shooting is still being investigated.
