Three recent high school graduates lost their lives in a tragic Tesla Cybertruck crash.
President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter of his gun and tax convictions, reversing a promise not to and sparing him jail time.The incident occurred just outside Oakland, California early Wednesday morning when the Cybertruck reportedly jumped a curb, collided with a tree and burst into flames, according toPiedmont Police Chief Jeremy Bowers told KRON that a person in a vehicle behind the Cybertruck managed to pull one individual from the burning vehicle.
Emergency crews arrived within minutes and attempted to extinguish the fire. Bowers said the fire was "too intense for the extinguishers." The Piedmont Fire Department eventually managed to put out the flames. The victims, identified by the City of Piedmont, Soren Dixon, Jack Nelson and Krysta Tsukahara were pronounced dead at the scene. The person rescued from the Cybertruck suffered burns and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Their identity and current condition remained unknown.
Piedmont Police and the California Highway Patrol were conducting an investigation into the crash. Bowers said speed was a contributing factor.
