With international basketball starting up let's dive into some of the top international prospects that are draft eligible for the 2025 NBA Draft.
The 2025 NBA Draft has an exciting international class with a ton of potential first-round picks. Last year we saw six guys that were playing overseas become first-round draft selections. Those players were Zaccharie Risacher, Alex Sarr, Tidjane Salaun, Nikola Topic, AJ Johnson and Pacome Dadiet.Nolan Traore | Saint-Quentin
Nolan Traore is a 6’5” lead guard that shows signs of superstar qualities. He’s a shifty guard that is very quick with great burst, change of speed / pace and has a mature game. Traore is a walking paint touch that generates open shots for himself and teammates. Rocco Zikarsky is one of the top centers and international prospects in this year’s draft. The massive 7’3” center possesses a 7’6” wingspan and makes a massive impact inside the paint on both ends of the floors.
Hugo Gonzalez is a 6’6” athletic wing with a ton of exciting tools for an 18 year old. In the FIBA U18 he was clearly one of the best athletes there at the event. He has great bounce, strength, positional size, explosiveness and acceleration. Noa Essengue is an athletic 6’10” forward out of France that is oozing with potential. He’s a very good athlete with nice physical and athletic tools.Essengue’s teammate, Ben Saraf is another talented prospect who has been gaining a ton of draft traction ever since his FIBA U18 showing. Saraf is a 6-foot-5 guard who is very creative and crafty with the ball in his hands. He’s a smooth lefty who can initiate an offense with his great feel for the game and high basketball IQ.
