Police say they’re investigating the Friday morning double shooting.
Two women were shot on the Upper East Side just before 9 a.m. on Friday near Mayor Eric Adams’ official residence, according to NYPD officials.
Police said the women were shot on East 88th Street near York Avenue in Yorkville, about a block from the mayoral Gracie Mansion. Officials could not immediately confirm their ages or what condition they were in, and did not have any information about a potential suspect. The NYPD was expected to provide a public update on their investigation later on Friday.from 2020 to June 2024.
