Geneva police said two people were killed and another was critically injured early Saturday morning near Kirk Rd. and Fabyan Parkway.
Two women were killed and two men were hurt in a multiple-vehicle crash involving a tow truck Saturday morning in west suburban Geneva.
Geneva police said the crash happened around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Kirk Road and Fabyan Parkway. A preliminary investigation indicates a 25-year-old Rockford woman in a Dodge Charger, ran a red light on Kirk Road, hitting a Hyunda Santa Fe. The impact from the crash caused the Dodge to hit a tow truck that was waiting to make left-hand turn onto Fabyan Parkway from Kirk Rd.A 50-year-old North Aurora man who was driving the Hyundai was airlifted to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove in critical condition.
The 31-year-old tow truck driver from Batavia was treated and released from Delnor Hospital in Geneva.Copyright © 2022 WLS-TV. All Rights Reserved.
