An NYPD vehicle crashed into another car in the Bronx on Monday, leaving two officers and another person injured, according to police.
The crash happened around 6:20 p.m. on East 149th Street and Brook Avenue in the Mott Haven section.
The officers were responding to a 911 call for NYPD officers needing assistance at a nearby location at the time of the incident. Eyewitness News obtained several surveillance videos which showed the police car going the wrong way on Brook Avenue before t-boning a white Jeep Cherokee as it tried to cross the intersection.
The Jeep sustained damage to the passenger side and the front tire, while the police cruiser was left mangled.The driver inside of the Jeep was taken to an nearby hospital in stable condition.
