A woman died in a multivehicle crash in Lancaster County Tuesday afternoon, while a solo driver died in an unrelated crash that evening.

Two people were killed in Tuesday crashes in Lancaster County, the coroner’s office said.

A sedan, commercial van, and tractor-trailer crashed around 3 p.m. Tuesday on West 28th Division Highway in Penn Township, killing Bethany Welch, 41, of Palmyra, the coroner’s office said.Authorities said Josiah Maier, 24, of Lititz, around 8:36 p.m. on the 1100 block of Kleinfeltersville Road in Clay Township.
