Two people are dead and a third is in the hospital after a small plane crashed in a construction zone shortly after taking off from the McKinney National Airport.

A federal investigator is expected to arrive at the scene Friday, but authorities have not yet released who was on this plane.The only person on the plane who survived the crash is in critical condition at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.Cell phone footage shows the fiery moments after a twin-engine Cessna 414 crashed into a construction site Thursday morning. A construction crew was seen hustling to spray water on flames.Three people were on board, according to the FAA. Two of them died on scene.

FAA records indicate the plane is registered to Hunger Relief Ministries, a non-profit in Forney working with food pantries. Officials have not yet confirmed the names of those on board the plane.SKY 4 video shows the wreckage at the construction site. The construction group did not allow media members near the crash site and declined requests for interviews.The cause of the crash is under investigation. The NTSB is expected to arrive on scene Friday and will lead the investigation.
