Police in Wisconsin are investigating a deadly mass shooting at Abundant Life Christian School, where a 15-year-old girl identified as Natalie 'Samantha' Rupnow opened fire, killing a teacher and a student while injuring six others. Rupnow died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities are working to determine the motive and how Rupnow obtained the 9mm pistol used in the shooting. A possible 'manifesto' circulating on social media is under investigation.
Almost twenty-four hours after a deadly mass shooting in Wisconsin police are still trying to piece together why a 15-year-old girl would open fire in the middle of a study hall at a private school.
He explained that police are aware it's been posted and that the individual who shared it was allegedly connected to the victims. They are working to contact them and are "looking into things written" in the particular document.When asked about how Rupnow got the weapon used in the shooting, Barnes just noted they are working to learn as much as they can.
The US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is working with police to help find out how the shooter acquired a handgun. "I think we can all agree that enough is enough," an emotional Barnes said during a news conference." We have to come together to do everything we can to support our students, to prevent press conferences like these from happening again, and again and again."
