Over 167 women have now filed lawsuits against Dr. Barry J. Brock, a former obstetrician/gynecologist at Cedars-Sinai, alleging sexual exploitation and abuse under the guise of medical care. Attorneys claim Brock engaged in inappropriate touching, comments, grooming tactics, and exploitative examinations dating back decades. The lawsuits also allege that Cedars-Sinai was complicit in Brock's behavior, failing to protect patients despite multiple complaints. Cedars-Sinai states that Brock no longer has privileges to practice at the hospital and that they have reported the matter to the California Medical Board.
