However, one day, Ai returns to her village to find them all immobilized.
Darling in the Franxx is a popular meca anime that echoes favorites like Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gurren Lagann, and Gundam. Though it has a rather unique art style and interesting premise, the ending feels too rushed, leaving an unsatisfying conclusion for the viewers. Darling in the Franxx is one of those anime that viewers are hesitant to watch, but it is entertaining and fun to watch from the beginning until the disappointing end.
