A man is dead after a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning on the Stevenson Expressway, according to Illinois State Police. Police said at about 2:06 a.m. a Honda HR-V rear ended a truck-tractor semitrailer at I-55 southbound near Central Avenue. The driver of the Honda, a 31-year-old man from Summit, was pronounced dead on scene, police said.
