A man was in the hospital with serious injuries early Wednesday after an apparent stabbing involving two cousins in northeast Harris County, officials said.
Detectives had detained a man in connection with the stabbing, Sgt. Charlotte Webster of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office told Metro Video Services reporters. His name was not immediately released.Witnesses told investigators two cousins around 1:45 a.m. had gotten into an argument near the intersection of Hartwick Road and Interstate 69, officials said. The two began fighting when one man grabbed a knife and stabbed the other.
