A man is dead after being shot on the northeast side of Indianapolis.
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition. Shortly after arrival he was pronounced dead.The Marion County Coroner's Office will release the victim's name once the family is notified.
