Caloocan City deploys 2.3 million COVID-19 vaccine doses


The Caloocan City government has deployed a total of 2,300,508 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines as of Monday, Jan. 17.

According to the Caloocan City Health Department, 1,174,578 of total vaccines administered were used as first dose, 1,033,381 as second dose, and 92,549 as booster shots.

Caloocan City Mayor Oscar Malapitan thanked the residents who trusted the protection provided by the vaccines, as well as the medical workers who continue to lead the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Jan. 12, the Caloocan City Public Safety and Traffic Management Department (DPSTM) inspected establishments and public areas in the city to ensure that the city ordinance on the “No Proof of Vaccination, No Entry” policy is being implemented. (Cherrylin Caacbay)
