A lawmaker asked the government to be more "proactive" in ensuring that 3.4 million senior citizens who remain unvaccinated against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) get their jabs.

Senior Party-list Rep. Rodolfo Ordanes cited Central Luzon, the Southern Tagalog Region and Central Visayas as the areas where the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IAF), National Task Force (NTF) and local government units (LGUs) could focus on by going to the houses of these seniors or wherever else they may be.
