President Duterte was delivering his State of the Nation Address (SONA) at the House of Representatives as of posting. Meanwhile, both Chambers opened the third and final regular session of the 18th Congress.

In the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) front, the Department of Health (DOH) reported more than 6,600 new cases, even as it also noted that more than 17 million doses of coronavirus vaccines have already been administered as of July 25, 2021.
