A fire gutted a workers’ barracks inside a bus terminal on Quirino Highway in Barangay Gulod, Novaliches, Quezon City on Tuesday, Dec. 21.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Public Information Office said that the laze reached the first alarm at around 2:11 p.m. and was declared under control at around 4:55 p.m.
Quezon City Fire District (QCFD) Inspector Learne Morales said that the fire was extinguished at around 5:25 p.m.
No one was hurt during the incident.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire that reportedly started in a bedroom in the building.
