Zuma was attending his 34-year-old son's culpable homicide trial at the Randburg magistrate's court on Wednesday.
Earlier, a survivor of the accident, Charlotte Ndlangisa, who had been sitting next to Dube in the mini bus taxi that was rear-ended by the Porche driven by Duduzane, had testified that after the crash he had helped her into his luxury car to shield her from the pouring rain on the night of February 1 2014.
The former president said he could not rule out the possibility that people who had a gripe against him wanted to get back at him by punishing his son. "It is difficult not to say people who had a gripe against me would not target my son. There was a legal process that was taken and it was concluded. Why then come back? And when you come back there is no overwhelming evidence to say indeed there was negligence," said Zuma.
Duduzane is currently applying for the charges against him to be dismissed, arguing that the state's case against him was weak.
Bathong😲
Finally. A reason behind case bn dropped.t sypathise with u blesser
Lets not forget that there's also a taxi driver involved here

Come on Mr President, lives were lost in that accident don't play a victim here , maybe in other things yah not this one
So he mustn't be accountable for what happened? Unya nyi wena khanda khulu
So even Ramaphosa's Son targeted to get back at him?
Really now,I though he has a valid Porsche case
Jacob Zuma likes to play victim. So Jubjub was also targeted?
Madness
Well, lots of people think they can do what they want. Capone was jailed for tax evasion, not his main crime. Pablo Escobar worth $25 billion first got arrested for stealing a car. Karma is a bitch, and she's coming for you too Zuma.
Zuma's problem is his and his alone. If he decides to take himself serious, it's not our problem. He is a dead snake ngoku...
Really, someone's mother, sister or daughter died in that accident and you think you being targeted
If it was anyone esle that person would have been charged and sentenced due to the death of an innocent person....why is he allowed to kill and walk away?

Of course he is not a legal expert but just a plain simple illiterate and a criminal/SA Number One Criminal If he was not reckless how come he hit a car before him with such impact ? pierredevos The problem will always emanate from those that were in charge of the scene just after the Incident. The loopholes would be right there and his legal representation will capitalize right on that
