Why the ANC could not win the Western Cape at Elections2019

Cape Town - The ANC’s Western Cape head of elections, Ebrahim Rasool, says despite the party putting up a “fairly credible performance” in the province, there certainly is a sense of “deep disappointment” in the results.

He added that for the ANC, this was the first time in a long time that the party was not on the defensive like it had been for the last 10 years. He added that both the ANC and the DA noticed a national pattern in votes but that the pattern did not remove the disappointment. “It gave us some rationale as to what the voters were trying to tell us,” he said.

"What the electorate told us in the Western Cape and nationally is, before we put our trust in the ANC, we are going to put our trust in Ramaphosa,” he said.“If the ANC in the Western Cape can align itself with Ramaphosa’s bold renewal talk then voters will give us a chance again, so there is hope.” .

Because the Western Cape has more intellectual people than the rest of DA.

'We didn’t have to explain about ....... state capture'. Really? If you think that, how can anyone trust the ANC?

Mr Pure Drivel. My brown envelope.

Why are they so hell bent to govern in this only holy and successful province when they can't manage very well all the eight they've been controlling for 25years? They're a curse

How can you declare that you aim to distance yourself from State Capture MYANC , then boom Dr Surve steps up with a R1 million “no strings attached donation”🤔🥴PICINQUIRY

This suspension is for R1m, what about about those implicated in corruption and state capture of millions and billions. I know there was a problems in pronouncing that high figures but is the millions/billions a lower amount than the one million? ANC keeps Durban mayor in job despite charges laid against her ?!?!?! 🤨🤨🤨 They accepted his money and now they suspends the person who helped with the disbursement.
