Court action is about alleged patent infringement, seeking ¥20bn in damages from each

Tokyo — Japan’s Nippon Steel is suing customer Toyota Motor to stop it manufacturing and selling vehicles that contain specialised steel made by rival supplier Baoshan Iron & Steel of China, which it is also suing.

The company has supplied electromagnetic steel to Toyota for the Prius hybrid for more than two decades. The Chinese steelmaker in that incident was also Baosteel, according to a person familiar with the matter. The monetary damages sought are unlikely to have a significant impact on Toyota. The bigger concern would be if a court stopped it from using the Baosteel steel when it is ramping up production of electric vehicles.

Ever wondered WHY pit bull's attack? Read thisDominic Naidoo spoke to Nicole Jack, chairperson of Durban-based pit bull rescue organisation, Serendipitty Rescue to gain more insight into the controversial world of pit bulls. LindaStouffes I just want to say a very big thank you, to your company for its transparency. I had doubts at first but seeing I got paid I deemed it necessary to share with the general public and let them know that you are real and reliable LindaStouffes The way you treat them is the way they will turn out. And that goes for any dog. You treat it like shit you get shit... You treat it with love you get love. The pitbull advocate seems to be stuck between acknowledging the dangers of pitbulls and trying to pretend they're great pets. Why not just get a dog that is not likely to snap and suddenly kill your child - say a beagle, mini schnauzer or even a labrador?
