Police are investigating a case of malicious damage to property after a pedestrian threw a rock at a truck driving on the N3 highway in Durban.

A video showing a pedestrian throwing what appears to be a rock into a truck's windscreen was captured in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

The incident happened on Tuesday morning near the Pavilion shopping centre - just days after a brick was hurled through a truck windscreen in Pietermaritzburg. "The victim was driving his truck on the N3 freeway offramp opposite The Pavilion shopping centre, when an unknown suspect appeared and threw a stone on to the truck," police spokesperson Col Thembeka Mbele said on Wednesday. The stone damaged the truck's roof.

in the province, SA Zero Waste driver Nkanyiso Cele was driving on the N3 near Pietermaritzburg on Saturday at 10.30pm when someone threw a brick from an overhead bridge through his windshield."The driver [Nkanyiso Cele] immediately informed the control room who dispatched police and an ambulance to the scene," SA Zero Waste senior controller Eric Robertson said. The brick damaged only the windscreen. Robertson said the company's trucks have been targeted before.

Hundreds of thousands of litres of raw sewage is flowing into the port every hour. Blue flag beaches will be poĺluted as well but they take measurements above waterreine by digging hole . This means measurement inaccurate because partly filtered by beach sand . Joke . They voted for this SAns cry out for equality. I fully support the call. But, most Black people, who wish to be equal to most White people, need to be able to do the same things & maintain the same standards as most White people. It’s like most SOEs, Gov agencies & municipalities are in a mess. Why?
