President Cyril Ramaphosa was booed in Zimbabwe on the weekend when he addressed mourners at former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe's funeral.

Ramaphosa was booed by mourners who were gathered at the National Sports Stadium when he took to the podium to deliver his speech. In the video that has been doing rounds on social media, a wave of jeers, boos and whistles interrupted Ramaphosa's speech as he started his eulogy for Mugabe, who died aged 95.

In his address, he acknowledged the concerns of Zimbabwean nationals and other African diaspora communities in South Africa, and assured mourners that South Africans were not xenophobic. He said the country was making efforts to deal with the causes of the violence.

To disrespect one 'representative' of a country is disrespecting the entire country, mind you there are many Zimbabweans currently living in this country, would they want us to treat them in that manner?.

CyrilRamaphosa : When you got booed those people, were simply saying, govern your country by following the laws. Once you apply the laws then you get the respect you really deserve. One can still be African while they are in their country. Lawlessness must fall.

It was not good for our President and country that shows us that we have serious challenges to deal with it

He deserved it. Why was he not in his own country sorting out the crap he allowed to unfold
