It was an emotional day for many Proteas fans on Sunday after England secured a two-wicket victory over South Africa.Three-year-old Juvan Strydom fell on his dad's lap crying after Proteas ODI skipper Quinton de Kock was bowled out for 69 runs.Lize Strydom, told News24 that her son had always loved the game. "My husband played club cricket on the weekend and Juvan would always be on the sideline supporting him," she added.
Juvan inherited his parents' love for the game at a very young age - picking De Kock as his role model. "I like Virat Kohli and my husband is a fan of [Jacques] Kallis and [Mark] Boucher. Juvan just decided that Quinton is his favourite,” she said. After taking a quick nap, he was ready to support the rest of the team as they took on England.
Strydom said she posted the video to social media, hoping that De Kock would respond to his"number one supporter".
