Orlando Pirates forward Tshegofatso Mabasa has arrived at his new club ahead of the completion of his loan move, which comes into effect from July 1.
Mabasa has been at Pirates for the past three years after arriving from Bloemfontein Celtic and had his least productive campaign this past season.In his first two seasons at Pirates, he scored 15 in 44 games raising hope that he would grow into the main source of goals for The Bucs this season having also shown promise at Celtic where he scored 12 in 59 matches.
Pirates already have Kwame Peprah, Boitumelo Radiopane, Zakhele Lepasa, Terrence Dzvukamanja and Kabelo Dlamini to fill up slots in the forward line.He was also in the wanted books of Chippa United and Richards Bay but appears to favour staying in Gauteng as Sekhukhune trains in Johannesburg despite plans to play home matches in Limpopo in the new season after using Makhulong and Ellis Park last term.
Sekhukhune are keen to widen its attacking options after releasing Justin Shonga, Evans Rusike, and Charlton Mashumba.Mntambo has also moved from Pirates.
