Teacher unions slam social distancing plan | Witness

This was announced on Wednesday through a joint statement by five of the country’s biggest teacher unions; National Professional Teachers Organisation of South Africa , National Teachers Union , Professional Educators Union , South African Democratic Teachers Union and Suid-Afrikaanse Onderwysers Unie .

The unions said the DBE had not consulted them regarding the reduction of social distance in primary schools from 1 metre to 0,5 metres.
