The National Coronavirus Command Council will brief the media on Monday following President Cyril Ramaphosa’s address to the nation on Sunday, on the government's further plans to combat the spread of COVID-19.

PRETORIA - Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma briefed the media on Monday on the amended regulationsDlamini-Zuma spent some time sending condolences to families who have lost people to COVID-19.READ:She said if someone does not have a mask they can use a scarf or cloth to cover their nose and mouth in public.

Dlamini-Zuma said it is the responsibility of South Africans to ensure that mask-wearing is adhered to in public spaces and public transport. The minister also emphasised that social distancing must remain and people must avoid activities that create close contact.
