The President says investors look at how quickly they can get approvals and permits, the quality of water and electricity provision as well as the state of sewage and waste removal in an area. “If they are not satisfied that their needs will be met, they choose to invest somewhere else and if they are not met by a very welcoming hoard of officials and political leaders, they just make a quick judgment and move on,” adds Ramaphosa.

They can't even manage sewer which is running on our streets while they sit in offices... disgusting filthy lot .no oversight just talk talk talk from this useless cabinet..mxm

If the economy dus not grow how are we people of South Africa going to make it in this world

CyrilRamaphosa should lead by example - the municipalities are following the poor example set by MYANC and PresidencyZA 😒

Waste of tax payers money's

He says a lot but much less happening...

What a joke

Yep...DA municipalities

And have smart people and not illiterate family members getting fat salaries sitting doing nothing. Municipalities need to have a good clean out.

This requires an evolution if you don't see this from national level thats the head. The spin off won't take place. The architect designs the project but its left to the builder to deliver the end product. You still need a coordinator and a project manager to bring it to fruition

With which electricity?

None of this happens until the corrupt collection of money-grubbing cadres are replaced with knowledgeable and competent people who are there by virtue of there skill-sets. This applies the whole lot.

🤬

No shit sherlock

Corruption will stop growth of the economy... Unemployment will grow... Our country and municipality is in a state of decay...

Oh for goodness sake..... THEN STOP DEPLOYING UNQUALIFIED CADRES TO MUNICIPAL STRUCTURES AND PUT COMPETENT COUNCILLORS IN PLACE AND STOP THIS CONTINUOS NO CONFIDENCE BULL$T!!

Because they damage our economy by looting now the issue is investors. Why when the National Party was in power why they didn't cry for investors. Investors are corruptors.

Kanjan besaqasha abantu aba incompetent?

It seems the councillors in the municipalities may be more interested in serving themselves than the residents! They seem to love ousting each other out… perhaps they see it as a stepping stone to their aspirations to get into govt & all the financial benefits for their family.

Same requirements for a President...we don't have that either!

So he goes around saying what they should do and then does exactly the opposite. Hypocrite.

Why does this clown sorry I meant president always tell us what we already know. Does he think we’re stupid.

No shit hey😐

But you as a national government leader don't show that, you must lead by example MR President

Seriously? Who does he bullshit... Municipalities steel monies they received and not even pay there Eskom or Water bills

How when there's loadshedding? We can't be talking about growing the economy now🙄

And have electricity!

Lastly, they must also use mattress as a bank to avoid paying tax and refuse to answer any questions.

We know that in our sleep

We already know that
