Soccer fans flock to TikTok as AFCON hashtag scores big - here are some of our favourites

CAF and TikTok now have a 12-month partnership to help promote African football through AFCON and Women's AFCON later in the year.

The collaboration will allow fans to create post match content, highlights, and football related challenges, way past the tournament. African Cup of Nations fans have taken over TikTok Africa, after a collaboration with the app at the start of the soccer tournament brought together avid football fans, allowing them to share reviews and commentary on fixtures.
