Why should she renege from her own apology after she had written it herself? Who is fooling who here? The Minister in the same office claimed they were taken hostage by unarmed people with his armed guards! Is there any difference here? The ANC no longer have credible people to lead the organization. Thanks to Polokwane. Now every Tom, Dick and Harry and think they can become the President.
Don't lie. This lady needs to be disciplined and be expell from the ANC 'QHA' She looks very nice in pink but I believe it is now time for her to vacate her highly influential ministerial position. Definitely not working for the interest of her Tourism portfolio which has been devastated by Covid. They will never be like their parents or grandparents when it comes to the struggle. Struggle credentials are earned not hereditary. A lot happened wherever she was in charge. Does she expect to be trusted for the presidency? Never.
Your headline is a misrepresentation of what the Minister said on her article. Presidency's Media Team and the President is two different things. Actually who is lying here ? We know Curil is a liar It’s high time that somebody exposes Ramaphosa as a liar. That it would come from a minister, is encouraging.

The next SA black woman President… Lifetime minister position will always create entitlement. What they have done to be in the position for lifetime. ANC need to change their deployment strategy. The reason why is difficult to discipline members is bcs others are untouchable. Or commission be appointed?

Sisulu apologises for controversial column after being 'admonished' by Ramaphosa, presidency saysPresident Cyril Ramaphosa has reprimanded tourism minister Lindiwe Sisulu over her controversial article attacking the judiciary and the constitution. 'I'm sorry ke!' She had an opportunity to stand for something but as always the political stomach won What did she hope to achieve? She thought she can get away with murder, eggs are on her face, thinking she is untouchable you have made a terrible mistake, but a warning to others to tour the line, South is far from being a banana republic. Is your name and crederbility at stake
Lindiwe Sisulu retracts 'unsubstantiated', 'inappropriate' comments on judiciaryAccording to the Presidency, Sisulu has conceded that her words were 'inappropriate'. now she needs to apologize to karynmaughan for that inappropriate verbal attack on Karyn. She is a fool who believes she is entitled - she is a totally useless & incompetent public servant who has added zero value to this country Incase she falls for a promise to be a deputy president, she'll need to remember how they're treating DD.
Her announcement on Thursday night came about two hours after the presidency released a statement saying she had retracted the comments she made early this month about the judiciary, and had also apologised. But Sisulu said she wished to “categorically disown the presidency statement in its entirety as a misrepresentation of her meeting with the president”. READ: Dinga Sikwebu | Sisulu’s political inauthenticity is astonishing She said that, during their meeting, Ramaphosa had expressed reservations about one aspect of her article. According to her, Ramaphosa had then proposed an intermediary to focus on the one line in the article about the judiciary to “resolve” it. She said: Under no circumstances did I commit to any retraction or apology since I stand by what I penned. “The content of the president’s statement in its current form is unfortunate as it is not what we agreed on. In this regard, I wish to distance myself from such.” The country will be watching closely to see how Ramaphosa responds to the public dressing down. In the op-ed, which was widely seen as an effort to position herself for the ANC presidency, Sisulu criticised the Constitution, the rule of law and the judiciary, including an attack on acting Chief Justice Raymond Zondo and his state capture report. On Thursday, the presidency released this statement: “President Ramaphosa met with the tourism minister in Cape Town earlier this week, where he admonished her about her recent article titled: Hi Mzansi, have we seen justice?” The president said Sisulu conceded that her comments were inappropriate, and she retracts her comments and affirms her support for the judiciary. READ: Zondo tackles Sisulu’s ‘unfair attack and insults’ and challenges Ramaphosa to act Sisulu was quoted saying: “I accept that my column has levelled against the judiciary and African judges in particular unsubstantiated, gratuitous and deeply hurtful comments. I retract unequivocally my hurtful comments. “I recognise that many women and men judges past and present have served their country in the judiciary with dedication and patriotism, and some have made sterling sacrifices in the fight against apartheid and colonialism. I apologise for and regret the hurt I have caused the judiciary.” In the article published online early this month, Sisulu wrote: The most dangerous African today is the mentally colonised African. “And when you put them in leadership positions or as interpreters of the law, they are worse than your oppressor.” “They have no African or Pan-African-inspired ideological grounding. Some are confused by foreign belief systems. “Today, in the high echelons of our judicial system are these mentally colonised Africans, who have settled with the worldview and mindset of those who have dispossessed their ancestors. “They are only too happy to lick the spittle of those who falsely claim superiority. The lack of confidence that permeates their rulings against their own speaks very loudly, while others, secure in their agenda, clap behind closed doors”. READ: Mcebo Dlamini | Why Lindiwe Sisulu is correct on transformation In response, Zondo said: “I want to say, I find this conduct on the part of a senior member of the ruling party, a senior member of Parliament and a senior member of the executive completely unacceptable, and it would be a pity if it was allowed. “It should not be acceptable in a constitutional democracy that a member of Parliament and a member of the executive should wake up one morning, without any facts, just write an article and insult all African judges.” Sisulu was criticised heavily by political parties and civil society, and there have been calls for Ramaphosa to fire her.
