Former AmaZulu FC defender Xolani Silawula is close on making his return to football after leaving TS Galaxy earlier this season.
Silawula joined The Rockets earlier last season but was released earlier this campaign, and according to his agent Sizwe Ntshangase, he is close to making a return. "Silawula is currently training alone. He is not with any club for now, but we are working on his next move soon before the beginning of next season," Ntshsngase told the Siya crew. The defender surfaced at Uthongathi FC after leaving AmaZulu, and was also believed to have been offered to Swallows.
Richards Bay FC are currently monitoring his situation, according to his representative, who would not be drawn into further discussions. "He did train with Uthongathi FC but we couldn't agree on certain things, so we respected their decision and now we are looking at other clubs. "There's nothing on Richards Bay, we are talking to other clubs but we hope to get it done this transfer or before end of the season," his agent confirmed.
