[FULL STORY] Semenya ruling suspended CasterSemenya

, can run in international 800 metre races again, until the result of her Swiss appeal against the Court of Arbitration ruling on the IAAF’s testosterone levels decision for female athletes is made known.ruling regarding testosterone levels in female athletes with sexual differences is suspended ahead of Olympic runner, Semenya’s appeal on the matter.

Semenya last week filed an appeal to Switzerland’s highest court against a decision to uphold rules requiring that middle-distance female athletes with a high natural level of testosterone take medication to reduce it.She had lost an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport on May 1st – which ruled the IAAF’s regulations were necessary for athletes with differences in sexual development to ensure fair competition.
