8Jun 28, 2022 - 10:51 amBy Soccer LadumaAmbitious DStv Premiership outfit Sekhukhune United has confirmed the signings of six new players, including former Orlando Pirates players Tshegofatso Mabasa and Linda Mntambo. As previously reported by the Siya crew, Mabasa and Mntambo had attracted interest from Sekhukhune and they have now signed on the dotted line. The club has also confirmed the arrivals of Denwin Farmer, Abednego Mosiatlhaga, Elias Mokwana and Tshepo Mokhabi.

Downs In Discussions Over Another Loan Deal?Mabasa could turn out to be an important figure for the club upfront, after they let go of Justin Shonga and Evans Rusike, who both struggled in front of goal. Mabasa was in and out of the line-up during his time with the Buccaneers and will be looking to make a mark in his new colours.

Mabasa was in and out of the line-up during his time with the Buccaneers and will be looking to make a mark in his new colours.  The 33-year-old Mntambo spent four years with Pirates, but was unable to hold down a regular spot in the starting line-up. After a season with them he joined Jomo Cosmos.

With the Soweto giants rebuilding the side, they decided to part ways and Mntambo will now have an opportunity to fight for a place in a Sekhukhune side that recently lost Yusuf Maart to Kaizer Chiefs. Mosiatlhaga (27), joins Babina Noko from Cape Town Spurs F.  Sundowns, SSU To Seal Swap Deal For Goalkeepers? Another player who will be looking to make a mark is Mosiatlhaga, who joins from Cape Town Spurs. He has always been seen as a promising player, but has spent the last couple of seasons in the second tier. He will now get an opportunity to showcase his talent in the topflight.
