SAHRC to probe school readiness

The commission says it will monitor a sample of schools across the country to establish whether they are ready to welcome children back.READ:The SAHRC will also investigate issues including the safety of teachers and children, access to basic services, and the revised curriculum.
There have been mixed reactions to the basic education department's phased reopening plan.Unions and some community sectors are against the reopening, while some experts believethe benefits for children of going back to school outweigh the risks of contracting the virus.

Wow the SAHRC still exists? So they've turnes a blind eye to all the human rights violations that have been happening in the country? Seems like another corrupt government institution Oh do fcuk off! My view is that schools are not ready neither are most parents to risk the health and safety of their children as well as those residing in their homes, this should be withdrawn as most teachers are sending work to kids via what's app groups they created
