The economic aftermath is depressing and warrants the question: how is it possible for 3 000 stores and 161 malls to be looted without any response from the police? At least 300 banks and post office outlets lay in ruins, damaged in peacetime under a democratic, and supposedly functional state.
It will continue while we have a government that is creating more unemployment and poverty. Eventually they will turn against the government too.
