Change tack & strategy SAUS_2019 get SAUbuntu SAUJS SAHRCommission all SETAs SGs of all political parties to rally behind you for Doors of Learning & Culture to be opened for All. Universities & TVETs should not be places of fun & bashes, akere? RepeatingMustFall etv IOL

And that’s gonna help how? If you can’t get your own way be a bully!

They are sick they must go shut their homes and leave those who want to learn

At the end of all this chaos, someone needs to conduct research on the impact of these disturbances on the quality of products produced by our universities nowadays. I say this with greatest respect - oftentimes, it's scary.

The laziest 'students' cause the most problems....university is meant for studying and hard work.... not for protests shutdowns and burning

I wander how blade made his wsy back into that position

These unions have destroyed the South African economy. Continue someone will wake up from slumber

Really 😡😡

Are these really student's or is it rent a crowd , students are affluent, intelligent and who parties, studies. no time for protesting over fee's and who threatens to shut down the varsities. Unless they are influenced by political parties, members who are dimwitted 😠😱😠😠😠

It's like this every year

Unions want the students to fail .... that’s their marketing strategy to stay relevant. They were meant to ensure ZERO disruption to education.

Typical hooligans.

Just for once I would love to see Min of Higher Ed and Gov KEEP UNIVERSITIES OPEN whole banning those stupid hooligans off the campus. Now the campus gets closed and cleared out and ALL other students willing and eager to study and work must suffer. Clueles, hopeless Minister. 🤡

Oh for goodness sake either study or drop out, some students who are paying for their studies want to learn and get their degrees.

Why do South Africans burn schools when protesting for service delivery?

They don’t understand how life works. You have to give something to get something and if you think the deal is unfair you move on to another place. You don’t dig in heels and beat them into submission, making the whole system unsustainable. I wish they can teach logic in schools.

So what became of all the warnings of Dept of 'Higher Learning' that disruptions will' not be tolerated?' Problem is these young hooligans do not understand or stick to the rules and conditions of their NSFAS funding. All of them have signed on the dotted line, now they protest?

People r too desperate to push their own agenda.

This SAUS they are destructing other students who want to pursue they dreams. Seriously this needs to stop. If u can check their clothing and their cellphones(SAUS) u will be shocked how expensive they are but they have nerves to destruct the registration. This country really .

Africa will be a shithole forever. The culture is determined not to progress.

Because some struggle with fees we will shut it down for all. It will not work but we will have destroyed things and caused the loss of many study days and thousands of rand. Suspend the participants.

What the heck for now?

your are our future and you not leaving us with much hope ,absoulte disgrace the youth of today.

Children from Middle Classs families are struggling with fees. I can only imagine what the poor are going through. Nsfas cannot help everyone. Also, how many people are paying Nsfas back when they start working?

Most of these 'kids' wanting free education yada yada... Just for half of them to fail the first semester coz they to busy protesting and burning shit... Smh

This issues are became worse it has became a norm to the student's union yes there may be disagreement on other things but what will happen to students when exam time approaches 🤷‍♀️ we cannot always have what we want

Really sad and hope students can attend class irrespective of their background, no student chooses their family, background and financial status. The pursuit of happiness through education should not be deprived 😥

Why? So they can be less educated than they are on this dumbed down education?

What union doing in student now 🙆‍♂️🙆‍♂️now there want to disrupt the education I'm sure there a coming to high schools too

They do this every year. This is getting annoying.

Somebody is gonna go to jail you know mos.

Unions should not have this amount of power to disrupt children's right to educate. They used to be to assist students not stress those who really want to study!

Send them all home. Sick and tired of 'kids' dictating. Sick and tired of 'so called 'refugees ' dictating. Just sick and tired of a government that can not run a country. Full stop.

Why not riot at union buildings - this is a government issue, they must subsidise education - so vote differently. Utter stupidity

Nothing new

This country is falling apart. People have the right to protest but they don't have to urinate on other people's rights. Urinating on other people's rights is a fast-track route to a chaotic nation. And it's the ANC that has created this destructive culture.

Students have unions now

SOS.

Now, they wonder why the state is disfunctional...

Athol Trollip gets heat for calling on government to celebrate 'important anniversary' of settlers' arrival in SAAthol Trollip came under fire for his recent social media post, calling for the government to celebrate the 'important anniversary' of settlers' arrival in SA 16 may 1820, is when my ancestors came. We have been here 200 years. How can an African government celebrate colonialism? That would be an insult to those who had to be exterminated to make way for your ancestors. Most settlers were given a farm, sack of seeds, few chickens, sheep, milk cow and a waggon and oxen and were told to get on with it. And they did. Today the ANC only give you a farm and thats probably why the ANC farmers fail.
