Power cuts will continue this year. Eskom warns that the road to operational recovery will be long and hard.

It highlights that two units of Koeberg, Eskom’s most reliable power plant – would be on a long-term outage.CEO Andre de Ruyter says the outages are necessary interventions that will deliver long-term benefits.

Meanwhile, theft and vandalism on Eskom's distribution network are becoming increasingly difficult to manage. That's the word from the utility's Chief Operations Officer Jan Oberholzer, who says the power supply to millions of South Africans is at risk.

Continue to cut electricity with a high unemployment rate and earn R350 monthly, Why

Thanks for that encouraging news Eskom. They have nothing to show after years of power cuts and steep tariff increases. Now over to the RET gang. They will loot so badly that people will then forget what electricity was like.

Been waiting for this, they do this always just before tariffs are to increase....

Off the grid I move. Even if it costs me R500 000.

Paying more for wat we don't use full time damn so R2bil they asking for is for load shedding they basically selling load shedding of these year R2bil eh Jah neh

Another blackmailing for the price increase. Whoever's pulling these strings at Eskom, has the whole country in their poket. Everything was looking fine until people start refusing the 20%+ increase in electricity prices.

“Power cuts to continue” Is this Eskom for real? They can’t even supply consistently, but keep asking for multiple ridiculous electricity price increases from us, the citizens. Wake Up Man!!!! 😡

There is no greater joy than having financial stability and a life free of debts, that’s why I keep tweeting about GregsonLillian has been a pleasure collaborating with you...there is no other way I can show my appreciation other than tweeting the good deed you have done.

Since Eskom can't supply steady continuous electricity they should reduce the cost of electricity and substantially reduce salaries at Eskom The people REJECT Eskom's increase since business and homes do NOT have power

Puny logorrhea
