Day5OfLockdown: Bishop Vusi Dube has urged religious leaders to act responsibly after a pastor was arrested for conducting a service attended by 150 people. Covid19inSA CoronavirusInSA

Durban - Bishop Vusi Dube has urged religious leaders to act responsibly during the 21-day lockdown, and not call for services in their church but instead encourage their congregants to engage in prayer within the confines of their homes to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

He vowed to continue with plans to hold a massive prayer service that would begin on Good Friday and end on Easter Monday. “While we understand that we have a role to bring hope to the people because there’s fear all over and the government has no solutions and we all trust in the supernatural intervention of God, we must also be responsible because the people can still hear our voice even when we use media and other social media platforms to speak to them.”

What the Moody’s downgrade means for SAWell no use moaning about it now. Tito needs to act with the support of Govt. Quarantine the RET gang and looters...Their fuckery has brought us to this. Besides that irrespective even if SA were above board would it have saved us from the global pandemic meltdown ... Am not questioning the downgrading but rather it's timing. This will make the fight against the virus much more expensive for the country which is not fair. Do you trust the rating agencies? I don't
