The Road Accident Fund (RAF) has lost another court bid to stop the auditor-general (AG) from delivering her report on the organisation for the 2021-2022 financial year.

South Africa Latest News, South Africa Headlines

The court said if it granted the relief sought by the RAF this would prevent the AG from performing her statutory obligations.

In February, the same court dismissed an application by the RAF to prevent the AG from publishing its disclaimer of opinion and audit report on the financial affairs of the fund. Judge Norman Davis in his judgment on Friday said: “I find that in the present case the fund has failed to objectively demonstrate that an imminent harm will befall it, should the AG perform her duties.”

At the core of the case is the RAF’s persistence to continue with the new accounting policy in preparing its financial statements for the 2021-2022 financial year, as it did in the 2020-2021 financial year.

How the heck does a SOE or Chapter 9 institution try to extinuish their records of account? This clearly demonstrates how the criminal ANC government has stolen from everywhere.

🤣🤣🤣the audacity

What are they hiding? They must face the consequences

Government institutions, funded by cash strapped taxpayers, are taking each other to court.

It's corrupt no wonder it's Bankrupt

Its getting worse under the fake new dawn, the AG is a chapter 9 institution that is not protected, where are all these useless foundations that used to claim that they were protecting chapter 9 institutions during the wasted 9 years.

For what is the RAF fighting so hard, if it’s not something that will be indicting? These entities amble on as laws unto themselves.

Must every thing go to courts in south africa is this by law and into who's coffers does the money go to
