Brazil international Gabriel Jesus is said to be keen only joining the North London outfit following the arrival of Erling Haaland this week.
The Sun reported that Jesus feels the arrival of Haaland will see his game time reduced, while Argentine striker Julian Alvarez is also set to join up with the City squad next season. The report adds that the Gunners are prepared to double the 25-year-old's wages as they look to reunite him with Pep Guardiola's assistant coach Mikel Arteta.
Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell believes the acquisition of Jesus would be a big upgrade for the Gunners. "Manchester City want good money because he’s young, fit and he’s a Brazil international. You could say he’s world-class. He starts for Brazil," Campbell said on the"He’s the best pressing striker out there and that’s what Mikel Arteta needs – he’s one of the key pieces that we need."But he wants to come to Arsenal, one because he knows the manager, two because he knows the system and three, which is the most important thing, he wants to be the main man.
So Arsenal is full of Brazilians.
