Saudi driver Yazeed Al Rajhi was third with the Overdrive Toyota team, his first podium finish in the event. Karatsev created history at last year's Australian Open after becoming the first Grand Slam debutant to reach a semi-final since the Open era began in 1968.  Very little land reform has happened over the last 27 years because of the very fact that the ANC is caught up in ideological clashes, not because any person or political party made it difficult for them. After his emphatic victory, the 28-year-old will be confident entering Melbourne Park having stymied Murray's bid to win a title for the first time since 2019. He is now the joint-second most successful car driver in the history of the event, tied with Finland's four-time winner Ari Vatanen and behind France's eight-time winner Stephane Peterhansel who also won six times on a motorcycle. Murray showed trademark fight and had opportunities to break in an epic fifth game but Karatsev held on and then motored to victory. Karatsev, who had knocked out Murray's British compatriot Dan Evans in a three-set semi-final thriller on Friday, plays world number 72 Jaume Munar of Spain in the first round of the Australian Open. “A lot of navigation, a lot of tricky notes, a few times a bit confusing and not sure if I was going the right way. When politicians such as Zille, Julius Malema and Sisulu remind citizens of the weaknesses in their opponents’ policies, we should listen. Murray has an intriguing opener against 21st seed Nikoloz Basilashvili who he beat in three sets in the round of 16 in Sydney. tl/ssy . What a feeling.
