Ramaphosa's son slammed for cancelling conference without notice

Ramaphosa said he had to postpone the event due to unforeseen circumstances and mentioned, among other things, that they had not sold enough tickets.

Ramaphosa said they were taking legal action against the organiser, whom he refused to name, and said they were trying to recoup money spent to organise the event. But Herman said, “What makes us angry about this issue is that they never posted anything about the event being postponed on their website or on their Facebook page.”

The conference aimed to provide value to those in the retail space, by showing the applicability of blockchain and artificial intelligence in that sector. Ramaphosa said the speakers were handpicked as leading experts in their respective fields.

It seems strange to me that at a conference you are ' allowed access to influencers' etc. At Scientific conferences I used to go to people moved freely and spoke to whomever they wished. Doesnt sound right.
