President Cyril Ramaphosa was speaking at a meeting with ANC Johannesburg region branches on Sunday.

The team of envoys will brief governments about the steps South Africa is taking to end the violence."In accordance with our protocol, our laws and regulations, one of the presidents of the African countries told me that they had a meeting just two weeks ago before the WEF with their own nationals, and when they had a meeting nationals had complaints," said Ramaphosa.

"Whilst we understand why our nationals are feeling unsafe, that president also said, you just imagine if you were to have south Africans in your country who do not obey the law, who embark in criminal activity, how would that affect you. They immediately realised indeed the issue of living in accordance with the law of the country is what should be expected from every national," he said.

South Africa has been rocked by a surge of deadly attacks against foreigners. At least 12 people have been killed in the violence and hundreds of shops destroyed.

Name one deployed cadre that obeys our laws

We are in this situation because of corruption...how did foreigners without proper documentation gain entry in S.A? Home affairs can you please explain?known foreign drug lords...where is SAPS? Are you perhaps getting money for Cold Drink...

Fooling who,us SA CITIZENS

Yes Mr President, they have to obey and respect SA laws. Who goes to a foreign country and set their own rules ObeyandRespect

government officials piss on the law everyday (enablers of illegal immigration and drug selling) you can’t even get your citizens to abide we’re under siege of criminals on the daily and you don’t want to face unprotected borders yet here you are. voetsek man!

His government is there to collect statistics not to fix anything they even employ criminals straight from jail and they kill again

TheeKingLindy

This President is full of double standards in the process he sacrifice south Africans the war against drugs is not xenophobic its specifically against Nigerian's who are known to be rude and bully first they must respect our culture we are not noise makers they must go

All residents of South Africa must uphold, and obey its laws, not only foreign nationals. I have had enough with criminals. EnoughIsEnough NoToCrime

Well, first get the locals to obey the laws then any foreigner will naturally do so as well. They only disobey them because the locals disobey them as well.

How can foreigners obey SA laws because there is no law, for the fact that they manage to cross border this means there is no law. Foreigners are not needed becasuse there is too much damage in all parts of the SA counrty by foreiners.

Arrest them when they break the law..the same way SAns will be. No country begs foreigners to uphold the rule of law..RSA is an exceptional joke in this regard!

As long as the police are taking bribe from Nigerian drug dealers and we don't have any where else to resport cause we don't feel safe. While you Mr President you can't see this. We will deal with Nigerians. Or they'll kill us is fine.

How can Sans obey any law when our very ANC government give promotions to thieves instead of arresting them, if you defraud the government of 200million and be removed to another post instead but the you've actually deprived millions of SAns of job opportunity

Non South Africans who wish to return back to their countries should be encouraged to do so, whilst, Home affairs should use the opportunity to document those affected. Those who gained South Identify documents should hand over them to authority.

They must obey or leave!

This only applies to Africans..'investors' don't .

It's about damn time someone with Power said that shit.. That's all w want 😐

You first

When are we getting a new president? Ramaphosa has failed the country. It's enough mahn!

Which laws is he talking about?

This one is just weak...

The number of murders in South African increased from 20,336 in 2017/18 to 21,022 in 2018/19. On average, 58 people were murdered every day. Around 20,000 people were killed in Syria in 2018, the 8th year of its ongoing civil war. UNHumanRights CyrilRamaphosa StephenGrootes

He must begin within SA law enforcement agencies and clean up corruption within the government officials first..

How can foreigners obey SA law when south Africans does not obey the law 🤔

Which Laws? Where are the enforcers? We are fucked 💔💔💔💔

But they are not obeying those laws what are you doing as a president

This BEE Prepaid-President is just saying it for the camera's! His white bosses need the foreigner nationals for cheap labour amongst other things !

Akekho umuntu ongenalo ikubo..

The fool should also insist that South Africans also obey SA laws. The fundamental problem is home-grown and fostered sloth, avarice, education deficit, entitlement and plain pig-headed stupidity.

On other news water is tasteless

👆👆👆👆👆

Our politicians don't even obey the laws they make.

Yec unamanga yini?

he is definitely smoking something uRamathuma.

Entlik uRamaphosa ithini into yakhe, uyandixaka straight, so is he there on Xenophobia or drugs? last time i checked we were told to stop this xenophobia crap. khanindicacisele zkiphani?

The SORRY one on an apologetic mission.

Nigerians must stpp selling drugs with the assistance of governement officials.

Yes that’s true

They must go fetch the right documents from their countries, apply to come here & tell how long r they gonna be here & respect the citizens of this country

I don't know what's with Ramaphosa even when he's speaking his voice sounds like umntu ofuna ukulila,he must be like UhuruKenyatta stand firm & tell foreigners to go sell their drugs in their countries,CyrilRamaphosa stop being too soft

Just empty talk!!

South African nationals don't even obey the laws🤨

I wonder labantu abavotela lomuntu babe cabangani kodw

Very funny, very very funny, and stupid. Does she think with his nose ere making jokes?

Actually Ramaphosa, what would REALLY help the victims of crime, would be if SouthAfricans obeyed their country's laws!

And the polices being paid by them how

Foreign nationals must go so that we can start afresh our journey to rectify our country

As if they do mxm

What laws are those? 🤔

CyrilRamaphosa does the same apply to SouthAfricans ? Why state the obvious! I donno who advises you but lately you have been seriously blundering. Sometime I think he just says things without thinking... ppl get the gist of what you mean but you statements lack authenticity

Agree but I think the lawmen must lead by example. The corrupt law officials must be dealt with first. They encourage lawlessness

So must the the SA locals obey the SA laws!!!! Laws

Look at the taxis they don't even know there are laws for driving.

Just go to the game parks then you see how people obey the laws. Non Existent.

Uhlekani lo Baba?

Oh my word while South Africans don't obey the sa laws. They follow your example old Cyril. The anc thieving government did not obey the law. Why should foreigners. Old malema does not obey the law old Ace does not obey the law look at your bunch first.

Someone remind the president that this issue of foreigners will end one day and that's when people will notice how his government is failing in running this government. This foreigners diversion will end one day...

They can start by going back to their countries....... Now waiting for the insults

shadrackmakhado but he'll do jack shit when they dont!!

No they must leave

I swear something ain't right with this tyma

Now you talk sense

They must leave, their presidents must invite investers that they chased away to go create jobs in their countries and leave SA alone.

Yes law needs to be obeyed

Is this what the envoy are going to say in countries of the continent? We are indeed leaderless here. After so much trauma this the only thing government can say?

I told them taxi drivers will fix this country

And SAns...? Have foreign nationals captured the SOE'S.. The criminals in parliament should obey the law!!!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

How about starting with politicians in parliament, lead by example for heavens sakes!!!

True President we will obey the laws .

Ngc2portia Why he sent Hadebe to apologize to Nigerians? What's he begging from Nigeria?they beat SA police in JHB CBD,Selling drugs by force in our country Cyril Ramaphosa is apologizing for what?

Ministers don't even obey the laws...

To obey yha they must start about having papers permission to be here in South Africa , but people who get here illegally can't obey the law, cause the person supposed to be in custody and deported, how can u expert an illegal person canobey thelaw while he started tohere illegally

So should South Africans...we should be setting the example...of our leaders don’t...then what do you expect....

Apha kusenga ikati kubethelela impuku sikwilizwe looohili

Our borders must obey the law also cos it all start there

Which laws? SA has no laws. If we have why are they not applied?

Should be very obvious

Which laws exactly?

What law?

CyrilRamaphosa 😂😂😂😂😂 not even SA citizens obey SA laws. Have you watched taxi drivers? Have you watched thieves & murderers? Have you seen destruction by protesters? 😂😂😂😂...you are so funny!!

Yes Mr President CyrilRamaphosa

1. Who asked him to apologise on behalf of South Africans in that funeral 2. Why they must obey the RSA law if they were allowed to enter RSA without following the law of this country?

Siyabonga Matamela👌🏻👌🏻

Make them to obey them. No criminal in their normal mind can just wake up and say I'm obeying the law. Act don't talk show them. Time for nice talk, manifestos, siminars and SONAs are over now. We need implementation.

Do we have a laws in SA?

Which law are you talking about? The Government corruption law?

Finish and Klaar my president cc CyrilRamaphosa

We don't want them to do that but they must futsek here

This idiot himself can't obey the law

Even him he must obey SA Laws because he put us last n outsiders 1st

But he didn’t say this when he was in Zim, he just apologized. Saying this at the ANC meeting in JHB... you are telling the wrong people Cyril

Goes without saying.

When citizens of South Africa make the same request Cyril also labels them Xenophobic The first law to be abide by is being in South Africa legally Not the nonsense currently happening Nigerians can’t even go back because of expired visas HomeAffairsSA has been sleeping 😴

Home affairs must also do partinity test, of a South African men who claim they have a child with a foreigner, this people are paying men to declare to home affairs that they are fathers so that they can get citizenship and child grunt, that's our tax money to benefit our people

And SA nationals?

What about South Africans?

SA: cANCer cadres must obey SA laws! 🤨🤔🙄😏🤷🏻‍♂️

Everyone must obey SA laws especially the private sector

Mxm ramaphosa is nt a man enough

How about foreigners who are staying here forever just to do hair cut, selling veges these are kind of business suppose to be owned by the citizens not outsiders

1652s

No they must go..our laws were there and they didn’t obey them what would make them to obey them now?

He said everyone has to obey the law of SA. Funny, that you are reducing it to the foreigners. You support the lawlessness of the SAns in Gugs, Delft, Langa, Philippi ? Did you ever drive car by night in these areas? How many cars there are driven by people with no license ?

Mnx

Non-negotiable

But ANC politicians don't have to?

Oho

Ramaphosa is not Satafrican. Why he protected those animals. Selling drug's Nigerian Human trafficking Nigerian. Mahala simcard from Nigerian. Let's force foreigners out of our rooms. Stop

And our law enforcement agencies must enforce the rules.

Mr President, are you serious? 🙈

And the drug dealers

Same way MTN obeyed Nigerian Laws and got fined. I see this a new slogan to cover up attacks on migrants while making yourselves look perfect in foreign lands. How many times was Stanbic and Multichoice caught red handed in Nigeria and fined? No one is perfect.

Ramaphosa: Foreign nationals must obey SA laws.... and the South African government and police must enforce it without fear. Sorry I thought i just finish your sentence for you...

He is smoking something that's for sure

Very Mr President but why does your SAPS don't do their job diligently Even hawksPolice you give them information but they do nothing!
