A leaner cabinet will see a number of ‘compromised’ ministers left out of the new cabinet, with the possibility of a new National Assembly speaker as well.
The ANC Women’s League is in conflict with President Cyril Ramaphosa after the league’s call for 50- 50 gender parity in government leadership seemed to have fallen on deaf ears. The committee flagged Deputy President David Mabuza, Mineral Resources Minister Gwede Mantashe, ANC head of the presidency Zizi Kodwa, Nomvula Mokonyane, Bathabile Dlamini, Zweli Mkhize, Malusi Gigaba, Mosebenzi Zwane and many others among the initial 22.
Others have said that Mabuza is reluctant to return to the Union Buildings, due to poor health and a desire to strengthen Luthuli House. Mabuza has also reportedly told sources that he wants to leave the Union Buildings on his terms.
I don’t where you guys get your news, you report rubbish nje,we all know that Ramaphosa in consultation with ANC leaders will elect cabinet, but he can’t depart from tradition of ANC,conference decided that DD will be deputy president, there is no way he can change that, respect us
He can but he won't
Media doing all it can to dictate who must be on the cabinet and who must not be on the cabinet
He will never omit DD, he is a president today because of DD.
It won't be that easy, remember Mabuza sell out RET to the New Dawn, Mpumalanga will not take that simple, for Bathabile it lies with women's league!
