Protesting staff shut down Eastern Cape hospital

They say they won't stop protesting until the money is paid.

A patient who arrived at the hospital for treatment said she had to leave after not getting any help. "Can the government please assist us and give the employees the money that was promised to them because the government is the one who made the promise," said Silviya Mdunyelwa. "When I asked, they told me the money they want is gratitude money so they haven’t received it and they refuse to work.”

Yep I support them. Sorry for the patients but this government doesn't stick to promises.

And these are supposed to be caregivers? All public servants are waiting for the gratuity.

They should be charged for negligence should patients die or have complications, why neglect poor patients though?💔
