Cyril Ramaphosa’s inauguration will cost R100m less than Zuma’sCost-cutting measures also mean the ceremony will take place at Loftus Versfeld instead of at the Union Buildings Notwithstanding, the amount 'budgeted' is still OUTRAGEOUS for a sitting president who is preaching austerity in all spheres of government. Finish & klaar! 😡 Well from the looks of mama NDZ in the pic, we’re saving a lot on bed linen already🤭 Whoopdeedoo! Still in the millions and still unnecessary.

Cyril Ramaphosa's inauguration 'will cost R100m less' than Zuma'sGovernment is planning to spend more than R100m less on the presidential inauguration ceremony of Cyril Ramaphosa than it did on Jacob Zuma's inauguration, as it battles with austerity measures. But it’s still going to cost R120m. Why? We’ve all just seen the unemployment figures. CyrilRamaphosa PresidencyZA do we need to have such an extravagant inauguration? Why not have a private function with family, friends and guests of honour and televise it. Spending R120m on a one day event is distasteful in the circumstances. Compare it also to Mbeki, Mandela, Deklerk and Verwoed, because Zuma was not the first president.
