BREAKING | 'Places of worship may reopen': Ramaphosa

"Places of worship may reopen, subject to strict restrictions - which are absolutely necessary," President Cyril Ramaphosa said on Tuesday night.

"Churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and other recognised places of worship may resume services. But these will be limited in size to 50 people or less, depending on the space available." During his national address on Sunday, Ramaphosa said the government had"fruitful discussions" with the religious community over the opening of spiritual worship and counselling services"subject to certain norms and standards".

"We have all agreed to have further discussions on this issue and are confident we will find a workable solution," he said. Ramaphosa said on Tuesday that the national coronavirus command council had decided to"accede to the proposals" made by religious leaders, in accordance with"certain norms and standards".

Kill us CyrilRamaphosa with this pyramid schemes called churches, go ahead kill us, your RevMeshoe MmusiMaimane wants u to slaughter us with this nonsensical churches, go ahead, marikana part 2 without guns this time, go ahead bro kill us, we are your chickens

Daft!

I'm sure the 50 congregants will be asked by the pastors to work tirelessly during the week, collecting the tithe from others who can't physically attend church, and deliver it on Sunday.

Because corona virus is afraid of religion but not food, obviously this is why restaurants are still closed and churches are allowed to have crowds of people gathering in a confined space. Makes sense, thanks CyrilRamaphosa 😂😂😂😂😂😂

NDZ has scientifically concluded that 100 people under 1 roof is safer than sharing a cigarette, or wait having a cigarette at all. So again NDZ Adriano Mazzotti cigarette racket. CyrilRamaphosa are you blind? Or are you in on the deal?

Let's hope they will do miracles and make this virus go back where it came from.

So we can use the church as a restaurant during the week. 50 people max at a time. Back in business.

Ncncncnc!

PresidencyZA is punting the idea: Pray for your soul. Kiss your ass goodbye 😂😂😂

Charity_Heals Saving time is over bazalwana, those offerings are long overdue

So why have we wasted the last 2 months on a lockdown for some religious nuts to spread it to the rest of us

So if churches can open and allow 50ppl to worship, why da fk can't restaurants open?

Does that mean the one can travel across town to your preferred church without being stopped?
