'Not listening to us is brutality,' says Bheki Cele on lockdown

He disclosed that 1,295 people have been arrested for violating lockdown conditions in the area of Embalenhle in Secunda, during a visit to the township to observe operations to restrict the spread of the coronavirus.“I hear them crying that cops and soldiers are brutal. Not listening to us is brutality,” Cele said.

“Stop making this request for bottle stores to be opened for three hours. There are no bottle stores that will be opened here, not until the 16th,” Cele said.“Drink, drink a lot ... of water,” he said.

Criminals drink in order to rob a bank

We drink our own money that we worked hard for. And some of us doesn't drink alcohol because of fun. We drink it because of our illnesses. So i see you take this thing as a joke. I also hate alcohol users behaviour but it's not all of us using alcohol for silly or crime purpose.

Mr Bheki Cele I personally believe that the crime stats have dropped drastically because of the mass visibility and deployment of law enforcement officials. If they were half visible as they are now under normal circumstances your views and statements wouldn't be so myopic.

Cele is promoting thuggery and violation of human rights by the police and the force! They are totally incompetent the only thing they know is to violate us. Come to dealing with real thugs and hardcore criminals they handle them with soft gloves
