National police commissioner Khehla Sitole and two of his colleagues have petitioned the Supreme Court of Appeal seeking to have a damning ruling against them reviewed. | City_Press

The application followed a ruling by the Pretoria High Court – and the subsequent denial of their appeal – that the trio “breached their duties” by not handing over or declassifying documents for the Ipid to investigate allegations of fraud and corruption.

Photo: Melinda StuurmanCity Press has seen documents filed at the appellate court two weeks ago in which Sitole and his deputies, Francinah Vuma and Jacob Tsumane, are asking the SCA president to “consider that this matter is of importance to the applicants and invokes the interpretation of sections 4 and 29 of the Independent Police Investigative Directorate [Ipid] Act 1 of 2011 vis-à-vis the facts that were placed before the court”.

The crooked cadre strategy - Guilty as sh*t but let’s fight this to delay.

I've learnt a lot from a mentor who were instrumentally in shape with me, and I want to share what I've learnt. Investing with you has changed my life Geoffreypreud

Deputy minister of Police must take all the responsibilities of the said Police Commissioner, and rank Police Commissioner must be abolished.

What rank can replace 'Police Commissioner'?

Leadership

For this election, vote DA & ignore other parties. The DA has put forward bright candidates from all races for this election. South Africans are sick & tired of low talented ANC/EFF morons destroying our future, bankrupting our economy, stealing state & private wealth. Renew RSA

maybe if all these officials and politicians had to pay for their own legal costs instead of using taxpayer money, we would have fewer of these frivolous and vexatious applications and endless appeals

Abramjee Yah u let KZN burn 🔥

Movie time fuckers ..😉🤣😂 via kfxnando

Abramjee So this dude is Fighting to stay in an Administration that doesn't want him? Then it's us who suffer...?💀

What's there to appeal? SAPS is infested with highly paid criminals who are remote controlled by politicians

Why this people are not telling us wat is the problem ag

Politics vs Police (Security of the State) Will always Conflict 🤞 🤦

So how will this country of us survive when ANC and their passive voters are busy gambling with it for their selfish gains. The young LGE candidates are no different from their Old Age Home previous candidates, they a from same University of Theft that gave the Looters Certificate

I Support them to appeal, they never done anything wrong, the main Problem is Bheki Cele and his President Ramaphosa, BhekiCeleMustFall

Is it not the fifth Police Commissioner in trouble ? Cele as ANC Minister was also previously demoted for his role in the inflated Rented Buildings and appointed rewarded again as Police Minister ? Just imagine if the Police is falling apart what about South Africa Military ?

They are all follow their ANC Gov Leaders all alike no difference ,incompetent to do their Highly paid easy Promoted Jobs,This is what you reap from cadre deployment , Promotions without qualifications, Nepotism ,BEE ,Affirmative action Promotions ? All destroyed .No proud

So you going to report same thing every hour 🙃

Waste of time. He must be fired. The other two Commissioners (KZN & GP) have one month salary docked.

City_Press He should do so whilst sitting at home. It makes no sense why Cyril Ramaphosa has not suspended this incompetence. KZN's Nhlanhla Mkwanazi & GP's Elias Mawela must explain themselves why they allowed Zuma zombies to terrorise people in July.
