Oz Open favourite explodes over three-minute bathroom break when ‘five are needed to change’ in Melbourne heat

After closing out a tough 6-2 7-6 6-7 7-5 win over American Cressy on a sweltering day at Margaret Court Arena, the second seed said players need more leeway to freshen up on days of extreme heat. “I was quite mad today because of a few things,” said the US Open champion, the highest seed at Melbourne Park after world No 1 Novak Djokovic was deported from Australia.

Medvedev, runner-up to Djokovic in 2021, will play Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime for a place in the semifinals. Tsitsipas looked out of sorts and edgy at times but his greater experience on the big stage eventually told as he got the decisive break in the fifth set before claiming victory. Having surrendered the opening set for three matches in a row, Sabalenka took a one-set lead for the first time in Melbourne but was unable to build on it as her serving issues resurfaced once again.

Solidarity wants state of disaster liftedTrade Union Solidarity is putting pressure on the government to end the national state of disaster or it is approaching the courts. The head of Solidarity's Research Institute, Connie Mulder, spoke with eNCA's Anlie Hattingh about the organisation's aims. It got nothing to do with Solidarity, DA or other fake NGOs. It's just a cut and paste idiocy of incompetent outfits who adore copying from their masters in the west. Dropping the C19 fraud with its fake restriction from masks to dull social distance is fair. US is heading to midterm elections soon, democrats have drop the C19 fraud for fear of losing congress, pushed their dustbins in the UK & EU to follow & ultimately their traitors in SA to do what they do best, copy & paste from their masters. Punish their agent CR in the polls. I fully support solidarity
